The Microneedling Process

For optimal results and maximum scar reduction, three to six treatments are recommended to be spaced out between two to six weeks. After the treatment patients tend to experience mild redness and minor swelling. These symptoms should be minimal and last no longer than a week.

What to Expect at Your Microneedling Appointment

At your microneedling appointment, we will begin by applying a topical anesthetic cream to minimize discomfort. We will then use sterile, disposable needles on the desired areas of the skin, slightly injuring it and stimulating rejuvenation and collagen production. After the treatment, healing serums are applied.
